new look + new designs!

It's been ages!  Lots has happened since my last post.  I've created a new look for piccolo studio, a new range that is in the works and best of all we've got a new baby girl!

I'm excited to share pics of my new designs as they take shape over the next few weeks.  For now I will share my new mandala print cards and a pic of the newest member of our family.

baby's baptism

i am so pleased with these baptism invitations i have just designed.  i wanted to incorporate a few different elements by using satin ribbon + broderie anglaise, it has worked as a simple but effective feature.  once the final design has been decided on i will get started on some matching place cards and menus.  this is going to be a very pretty event!

birthday fun at thirty one

birthday week in our house this week so to mark the occasion we got ourselves some grover cupcakes (http://yummies.com.au/). they were gorgeous and quite tasty though they really did look too good to eat.  it seems like yesterday all my friends were celebrating their 21st birthday's.  where have the past ten years gone?

i love bunting

i love bunting.

it is because of bunting that piccolo studio all started.  i could not find a bunting i loved anywhere for my little one's christening so decided to make it myself.

last week i made this sweet bird bunting and matching card for a friend who was after a newborn gift.  i really love the design and think it makes for a sweet personalised present with the card and matching gift bag.

this is the latest addition to my prints collection, and i really love it!  it was a custom order for a friend who is a fantastic celebrant (c for ceremony), to give to her friends that she married last week in a secret wedding ceremony.  it is the vows they pledged to each other on their special day. what a wonderful keepsake for the bride and groom to look at for years to come, and remember the day they became husband and wife.

shower/hens invitation

have just completed these gorgeous lady like invitations for a bridal shower/hens night.  i love the colours and the femininity, the black ribbon sets it all off.

i think the sister of the bride has a few interesting surprises install for the guests on the day, hope the bride to be has a fun time!

vintage wedding

this floral invite is the latest to join my small collection of bridal designs.  i think it would make the perfect invitation for an intimate vintage inspired garden wedding.  i found this gorgeous table setting on pinterest.
