Piccolo Studio in your room - Miss Millie

The last but not least entry in the Piccolo Studio in your room competition, is the beautiful bedroom of Miss Millie.  Millie is the youngest entrant at 5 months old.  She is the little sister of Sophie whose room featured a few weeks ago.

Millie's pretty room is also featured in the current winter edition of Little One magazine.  Her clever mummy Emma set the design of her room around her gum ball rug and silver spotty wall decals.

Millie sleeps in her Leander cot and has an Oeuf change table, both of which were previously used by big sister Sophie.  Like most of the kids rooms I have featured this month she has a set of cubes from Ikea for all of her little bits and pieces that she will soon love to play with.  These are such a practical and cost effective storage and display option these days!

Millie's growing collection of Sonny Angel dolls are displayed proudly on her heart shaped Bride and Wolfe shelf along with some of her special little shoes that she is still to grow into.

One corner of her room is set up as a play and reading area, it is defined by the felt ball rug, and is where her uba bub perspex book shelves are on the wall.

Millie's room also features some Piccolo Studio items including a peach, pink and silver dotty garland, as well as two prints that hang above her cot.  One is a personalised chalk board print while the other is peach with confetti detail and the words 'don't forget to be awesome'.

Thank you to Chantelle Bliss of Forever Bliss photography for allowing us to use these images.

Piccolo Studio in your room - Miss Ava

This very fun, bold bright bedroom belongs to Miss Ava, Ava is almost four years old.

Ava just LOVES her confetti wall which is a more recent addition to her room.  She enjoys sitting and playing with her tea set, Peppa Pig house and reading from her book collection to her baby brother Aiden.  Their favourite story to share is The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Ava has a globe in her room so that she can map out where all her family are.  Her mummy is Canadian, and she has family and friends over in Canada so it is important to know where they all are in relation to Australia!

Having a king single bed in her room means there is always room for Mummy or Daddy to snuggle in for a bed time story, or for her dog Pepper the Jack Russell to join her under the soft lighting that the fairy lights strung above her bed set off.

Piccolo Studio items in Ava's room:

- Bedroom rules print
- Oh the places you'll go print
- Love heart garland created especially to match Ava's bed covers

Piccolo Studio in your room - Miss Sophie

This pretty bedroom belongs to Miss Sophie.  Sophie is three and a half, and her room is laden with goodies any little girl would dream of.  She has recently become a big sister which meant handing over her cot/toddler bed to her baby sister.  Sophie loves having a big girl bed and playing in her room.

Sophie's room has been put together by her clever mummy Emma, and features pink, red and gold as the feature colours, keeping things fun.

Her Oeuf libary shelf displays all of her precious belongings, as does an ikea cube book case.  Her mini eames table and chairs are the perfect place to play in the centre of the room, while her little white display shelf is the perfect home for her Sonny Angels collection.

Piccolo Studio in your room - Miss Willow

The first kids space to appear as part of my 'Piccolo Studio in your room' feature is my little girls bedroom.

Her room has been a bit of a work in progress and is continually evolving as I like to change things around quite regularly.

What I love about her room -

I have invested in a few key items that I think Willow will always have, and perhaps take with her when she moves out of home.  Timeless items like the Muuto dot wall hooks, Muuto pendant light in pale pink, Bride and Wolfe circle shelf, the custom family tree print in peach black and white that I had made by a lady in Canada.  I would also like to think she will always have her silver Morrocan pouffe, and the danish style TV chair that my husband restored and we had re-upholstered.

What she loves about her room -

Emptying the entire contents of the Ikea book case, book shelves, and two toy baskets.  Her room faces west so it is beautiful to play in there in the afternoon sun.

Piccolo Studio items in her room -

- dotty garland
- feather paper artwork
- shower me with love paper artwork
- always remember you are loved confetti print

love print

this is the latest addition to my prints collection, and i really love it!  it was a custom order for a friend who is a fantastic celebrant (c for ceremony), to give to her friends that she married last week in a secret wedding ceremony.  it is the vows they pledged to each other on their special day. what a wonderful keepsake for the bride and groom to look at for years to come, and remember the day they became husband and wife.
