Sing A Rainbow

Are rainbows the new Unicorn?  It certainly looks that way,  rainbows seem to be popping up everywhere I look!

It takes me back to being a little girl in the 80's with the Care Bears and Rainbow Bright.

When it comes to colour combinations there are no strict rules, some favour bright, some want sparkle and others crave earthy tones.

I'm excited to be releasing a new rainbow range of invitations, tags and toppers this week.

I love that just like my unicorn and troll invitations they have a tactile element to them with the yarn tassels that fall at either end of the rainbow - it makes you just want to reach out and touch them.

The invitations are available to personalise in a section of colours - making them perfect for little girls, boys, birthdays, baptisms and naming days.

I've put together some of my favourite other rainbow finds for you to enjoy, rainbow inspiration is everywhere!

Ciao

Morgan's Lego Party

Our little guy is five today, it is hard to believe that it has been five years since he was born.

It was a wet rainy morning like today that my husband and I drove nervously to the hospital to have our first baby.  Being our first delivery (a planned caesarian) I didn't know what to expect, then once we were handed our healthy 4.505kg baby boy all was well!  He was born with a great head of hair and nothing has changed, although he's not quite the chubby little baby he once was.

He had a wonderful time with his school mates yesterday at his YMCA party.  The boys were led by two hostesses and shown the ropes of the gym floor, then spent time tumbling on the inflatable mat.  It was the perfect way to keep 16 boys entertained for two hours.

Following their gym floor antics the kids all headed up to the party room to devour some food and cake.

At the end of the party each little boy took home a lego cookie rather than a lolly bag as Morgan isn't a lolly eater.

I think it is safe to assume that all our little party guests slept well last night!

Jonnie B turns four - super hero party with a difference

I was so excited when Jonnie's mummy Donna contacted me.
It was my first international party order, and it was a super cool one!

Donna is a stylist in the UK, so the party was always going to look amazing.
She has been kind enough to allow me to share some photos from his special day.

I hear it was a wet one, but that didn't stop super Jonnie and his friends from having a wonderful time.

super kids -  super hard to get a photo of them all looking at the camera!

The Anzac day long weekend was a great weekend to celebrate Kingsley's 4th Birthday.  True to himself the birthday boy decided he would have a super hero party.

All of his little guests dressed accordingly and looked super cute!  The guest of honour dressed as spiderman and he was in good company with his posse of super heroes.

The party area was decorated by myself, with some honey comb balls on the walls, a piccolo studio custom made garland in super hero colours, a piccolo studio art work featuring the words 'pow' 'zap' along with the birthday boys initials, and some of my super hero confetti was scattered on the tables.

At the end of the party each super hero took home one of my new treat boxes home filled with yummy treats.

hungry caterpillar 1st birthday

Aiden celebrated his first birthday on perhaps what was the soggiest weekend in February.  Even though it was raining it was a gorgeous afternoon that was made so much brighter by his adorable little smile and the way his beautiful bold bright party marquee was set up.

Aiden's mumma did an amazing job bringing it all together. It looked like a page straight out of the Hungry Caterpillar book.  There was plenty of yummy food, if the caterpillar was a guest he'd have been in his element, with each piece of food he consumed in the book finding it's place on the party table!
