peppa pig 3rd birthday

Over the weekend our family were guests at a party for a little friend who is turning three on boxing day.  The party was held a few weeks early to avoid the Christmas rush, so the lucky birthday girl will get a double celebration.

The invitations, a little Peppa Pig print and the thank you tags were made by moi, Piccolo Studio.  How cute are the Peppa Cookies and the little cupcakes that were made by Yummies Cakes?!

The kids were entertained with a cubby and slide from tiny tots toy hire, who also provided the kids party table.  There was a huge Peppa Pig ice cream cake that was devoured by the small and big party people.

a sweet baptism day

Some pics of our baby girls pretty pink Baptism day.  The sun was shining, the baby was settled and the food was endless!  Big thanks to the lovely Kelly and the girls from That Vintage Caravan for the wonderful food and of course Sweet Jane herself for making the setting for our morning tea so much more special, such a pretty little caravan.

the perfect country wedding

Over the long weekend we had the pleasure of attending the wedding of some dear friends up in the Queensland countryside.

The ceremony took place in a gorgeous garden within a rose farm.  The beautiful bride arrived in style - in a side cart on a motorbike driven by her Dad.

After the ceremony the newlyweds arrived at their chilled out reception in a timber canoe that they had paddled across Lake Moogerah.

The reception set up included a stunning vintage timber caravan named Mr Jenkins that served the drinks.  There were yummy DIY cheese platters, wood fired pizzas, a tea station set up in an antique cupboard, endless macarons and cakes as well as an amazing live band who were brought in from Byron Bay.

It could not be further from what I had for my own wedding, but it was just perfect!  It totally reflected the happy couple and the details were beautiful.

miss w sleeps here

I've had a few people ask me to share some photos of the space we created for our new bubba, so here are a few.

It is still not complete, with the last piece still on its way.  My husband has been restoring an old danish style reclining arm chair that is to be reupholstered and placed where the bassinet sits at the moment.  The wall colour was matched from the birth announcements I made for Willow earlier in the year.

I love her room and thankfully she seems to like it too.  For now I will enjoy it being nice and tidy, because as she grows I don't think it will be!

One of my favourite things in the room is the family tree print, it goes back to Willow's great grandparents.  It will be a good talking point when she is a bit older.

This Kate Finn doll belonged to me when I was a little girl, her name is Lucia and I think she actually looks a bit like Willow!
